CONCRETE FREAKS

We're not just your average civil engineers - we're CONCRETE FREAKS on a mission! With an insatiable thirst for innovation, we're all about making concrete stronger, more durable, and eco-friendly.

With sustainability at the forefront of our minds, we've invented a few game-changing pieces that reduce concrete waste, amp up productivity, and help you say goodbye to guesswork. Our research combined with these tools empower the contractor to take control of the concrete before it sets to stone.

Join us as we pave the way to a brighter, stronger, more sustainable concrete future!

  • Credibility: We have over 30 years of experience working with concrete
  • AuthorityWe've done the research and studied the results
  • Benefit: We've invented the tools to help you measure the inconsistent components in wet concrete, saving you time &  money

Dr. Tyler Ley, Ph.D., P.E.

Founder  & CEO of Concrete Freaks

Dr. Ley is the inventor and founder of Super Air Meter, an innovative concrete air entrainment solution that can dramatically improve the freeze-thaw durability of concrete. He has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of structural and concrete materials engineering. His experience includes working as an engineer with a design consultant, construction contractor, government agency, and as a professor. He is an Associate Professor of Civil Engineering at Oklahoma State University where he was named the outstanding professor at a research university by the Oklahoma Foundation of Excellence in 2018.

Dr. Ley was recognized as one of the Most Influential People in the Concrete Industry by Concrete Construction Magazine in 2019. He is active in the American Concrete Institute and is a voting member of the Concrete Durability, Material Science, Concrete
Proportioning, and Sustainability Technical committees. He also serves on the executive committee of the National Concrete Consortium, a group made up of DOT engineers from 35 different states. His websites are visited by over 50,000 people per year and his education content on YouTube has been watched over 6 million times.
